The System
The Home Network and Outdoor Wi-Fi: The backbone for a killer full-property system is an enterprise-grade home network. Outdoor access points provide a robust home network that gives our clients full control over their outdoor system from anywhere on their property... or anywhere in the world from an app on their phones. Not only can they stream music, watch movies, or control the volume and the zone of their system, they can also control the louvers on their pergola roof, their outdoor heater, and their pool system.
A carefully planned home network lays the groundwork for possibilities, scalability, comfort, and convenience. It also provides World Wide Stereo with remote access for uptime monitoring, troubleshooting, and system upgrades. We will know if there's an issue with our client's system before they do and can likely resolve it before the family experiences any disruption. A remote network controllable surge protector will also allow us to reboot vital components of the system remotely.
The Outdoor Music System: The outdoor music system and home theater spaces were designed alongside the hardscaping plans to maximize each entertainment space. To evenly distribute the sound around the brand new infinity pool, there are two Sonance 2.1 landscape music systems on each side to cover the two different areas. Each system consists of two 6-inch satellite speakers and one 12-inch in-ground, buried subwoofer. Each system is powered by separate Sonance DSP 2-750 MKII 750 watt Sonamp amplifiers. A Furman Elite power conditioner, specifically made to handle even the most extreme power demands will reduce unwanted noise and deliver consistent, peak performance and uncompromising audio output from the amplifiers and speakers while protecting this powerful system from damaging power surges.
The music for dining area comes from a pair of discrete Piemont Planter Speakers powered by a Sonos AMP. This speaker has sound coming from both sides to comfortably cover the space, while hiding any signs of being a speaker.
The Outdoor Home Theater: The third "hangout zone" within the pergola - the main entertaining area - is the outdoor home theater system with a 75-inch Samsung Terrace TV with matching Terrace sound bar. The 20 watt per channel sound bar delivers plenty of volume for the space and the smart TV provides access to the built-in streaming apps like Netflix and Amazon, while a cable box provides unlimited access to sports. The cable box and TV are controlled by a weatherproof URC remote with radio frequency so the cable box can hide neatly inside the home. A pair of Bowers & Wilkins AM-1 2-way outdoor speakers powered by a Sonos AMP round out the premium audio in this space.
