To the legions of cinema buffs, music lovers and early adopters who refused to compromise, and the car music freaks who helped push our mobile electronics department to #1 in the country. To all you jazz, blues, and classical music aficionados, including of course, you wonderful rockers. Most of all, to the many families who live to have fun together: I thank you, and we all thank you. Our stores have been - and always will be - your stores. You not only make us look good, you make what we do the best job in the world.
What is Best of Philly?
This year is the 46th Annual Best of Philly, recognizing 341 distinguished businesses, people, and events in varied categories, from food and wellness to shopping and entertainment. Within the Shopping and Style category, World Wide Stereo was recognized as the“best”– leading in cutting edge technology citing: “Outdoor flat-screens, lights controlled from your master-bath mirror, and a home theater that will make Spike Lee jealous”. Philly Magazine also highlighted World Wide Stereo’s Ardmore Plaza location on the Main Line: “you will not walk out of this newly renovated showroom empty-handed.”
This is the third time World Wide Stereo has been awarded Best of Philly (previously Best Electronics Store 2011 and Best Place for Home Gadgets 2014). “As an independent retailer in the consumer electronics category, this designation by Philadelphia Magazine is a true testament to the efforts of our exceptional staff and the loyalty of our clientele”, said Robert A.
