AT-VM95C Integral Dual Moving Magnet™ Phono Cartridge
Arguably, the most important component for generating high-fidelity audio from vinyl is a quality phono cartridge. Audio-Technica has been a leader in phono cartridge design for more than 60 years, and they have drawn on that expertise to create a versatile, high-performance cartridge for this turntable – performance that other turntables in this class simply can’t match. Integrated into the J-shaped tonearm, the AT-VM95C cartridge with 0.6 conical stylus offers excellent channel separation and low distortion for outstanding tonal quality. And the stylus can also be easily upgraded with any of the other styli (elliptical, microlinear, or Shibata) in their VM95 Series, offering customization that is normally only possible on a turntable with a detachable headshell and cartridge.
Bluetooth & Switchable Phono Preamp
The easy-to-use AT-LP70XBT plays both 33-1/3 and 45 RPM records and, in addition to its Bluetooth wireless technology, has a built-in switchable phono preamp that allows the turntable to also be connected directly to a home stereo, powered speakers, computer or other component, whether that component has a dedicated phono input or not.
Noise Reduction
The three-piece, anti-resonance chassis provides a solid foundation that dampens unwanted noise for improved sound quality. Noise is further reduced by the inclusion of an AC adapter that moves the AC/DC conversion outside of the chassis to limit its impact on the signal chain.
