The MIP200 employs a thermally protected metal-oxide varistor (TPMOV) for superior line-to-neutral surge protection. This advanced technology addresses common failure modes found in standard MOVs, providing enhanced defense against power surges caused by events like lightning strikes.
Electromagnetic Interference Filtering
To maintain the purity of your audio signals, the MIP200 incorporates electromagnetic interference (EMI) filtering. This feature reduces noise and interference from external sources, preserving the clarity and quality of your sound system.
Programmable Voltage Protection
The MIP200 offers programmable over/under voltage protection, automatically disconnecting power to connected devices when unsafe voltage levels are detected. Power is restored only when voltage returns to safe operating levels, preventing potential damage to your equipment.
Global Compatibility & Flexible Outlet Management
Designed to accommodate various global power standards, the MIP200 is available with either 4 Type B (NEMA 5-15R) outlets, each with 2 receptacles, or 4 Type F (CEE 7/3 or “Schuko”) outlets, each with 1 receptacle. An always-on, unswitched outlet ensures continuous power to critical components, while the remaining outlets can be managed via the front panel, remote operation through the rear panel Power Control or RS232 ports, or configured as additional always-on outlets. Programmable delays for each outlet minimize inrush current, ensuring a safe startup for all connected devices and reducing the risk of tripping a circuit breaker.
