This laser projector is about 30% smaller in volume and about 35% lighter than the VPL-VW915ES, delivering the same high brightness.

Input lag reduction

Designed with the environment in mind
To reduce Sony's environmental footprint, they designed this 4K projector to consume 30% less power per lumen than the VPL-VW915ES. It's also mercury-free, with a laser light source. Sony reduced the amount of virgin plastic used for the main body by more than 25% and the packaging materials by more than 15% compared to the VPL-VW915ES.
